PROJECT OF THE MONTH for JULY This month's project can be made with any yarn with a gauge of 7-8 stitches per inch on a #3 or #4 needle. (Needle size can vary according to your individual stitch gauge and yarn you choose.) We have a huge variety of suitable yarn to make this scarf - your imagination will run WILD!!! Come on in and puruse the possibilities.

Project of the Month: May 2008 LILY SUGAR'N CREAM STRIPES PLACEMAT TO CROCHET OR KNIT
April 2008 Basketweave Dishcloth This pattern is fun to make and great practice for making the Basketweave Afghan! Size: Approx. 8” Square Materials: Sugar-n-Cream 100% Cotton Yarn Size 8 , 10 inch knitting needles, or size required for gauge. Gauge: in St. St. 4.5 st. = 1 inch
Directions: Cast on 38 stitches. Rows 1-6: Knit. Row 7: K4, (K6, P6), to the last 4 sts. K4. Row 8: K4, (P6, K6), to the last 4 sts. K4. Rows 9-12: Repeat rows 7 & 8, 2 more times. Row 13: K4, (P6, K6), to the last 4 sts. K4. Row 14: K4, (K6, P6), to the last 4 sts. K4. Rows 15-18: Repeat rows 13 & 14, 2 more times. Repeat rows 7 thru 18, 2 more times. Repeat rows 7 thru 12, 1 more time. Knit 6 rows for the border. Bind off. |
